38 weeks!

Only 2 more weeks to go! (or more or less depending on who you ask)  I think the baby has dropped because I am definitely feeling more lower back pain and pelvic pressure and the braxton hicks contractions are becoming more noticeable and frequent.  Baby is definitely getting bigger and more cramped in it's home.  I am getting bigger and it is getting increasingly harder to do things like put on shoes, pick things up off the floor and bend over.

I still love feeling the baby move and kick!  Today the nurses at work were all feeling the baby and trying to wake it up so they could feel it move.  I've also been asking the kids at the hospital for baby names (even though we already have them) just to see if there is some great name that I am totally missing.

I can't believe that in less than a month I'll actually be holding my baby!  Every day Dan talks to the baby and tells it to hurry up and come and play with him, though not on the 21st because Dan's favorite new XBox game comes out that day and he wants to play it right away.

I guess the next post will be all about BABY

32 weeks

Baby Burger at 32 weeks, 4lb 3oz and still growing

Today was Baby Burger's 2nd to last ultrasound.  As usual it was a joy to be able to see our little baby, who is not getting to be not so little.  We were able to tell how the baby was laying- head down with its L elbow up by my ribs and it's feet on the left side of my belly.  And as usual baby decided that it was a much better idea to keep it's hands infront of its face so we weren't able to get too much of a face picture, but what we did get was DARLING!  I love its little mouth and nose   Maybe next time... but I doubt it since in the 4 ultrasounds we've had so far the baby has always had its hands infront of its face.    Hey at least it's predictable!

We learned that he/she weighs 4lb 3oz and is in the 43rd precentile and according to the doctor unless he/she hits a major growth spurt in the next 8 weeks is not likely to be an 8+lb baby.  At this news I said, "YAY! I am totally ok with a 7+lb baby!"  We'll see how that growth contiunes at our next ultrasound and we'll have a better idea of how big baby will be.

Only 8 more weeks to go till we get to meet our baby!

26 weeks preggo

26wk baby bump

26 weeks preggo!  (thanks Karee for the reminder to post some belly pics )

Third-Trimester!

I can't believe it!  Today is the start of my 3rd tri-mester! Only 13 weeks left to go.  I'm not too sure where all the time has gone but it's going by fast.

Now all of the grandparents and aunt Megan and aunt Valerie have felt the baby kick, yay.  Baby Burger is getting into more of a pattern of waking and sleeping, or at least I am.   At 10/10:15 at night baby is very active and loves to move all about, Dan says it's because the baby knows that Daddy is there and wants to play with Daddy.  Then at 5am every morning I wake up and can feel the baby moving, so I guess I need to start getting used to being up then, or waking Dan up then.

It's official, I now have no belly button, it's flat and headed towards being an outie!  Still battling the summer heat, we finally turned on our AC last week when it was about 90somthing in the house and I just kept getting cranky with Dan, I decided peacful marriage was better then saving money and it's been so much better to have the AC on.  On the anoying side my feet are getting swollen a lot more now, ugh! I notice it at night when I am making dinner or if we've been walking around a lot.  Not too much fun since at work I am on my feet a lot, compression socks and tennis shoes help some.

Well that's all the updates on Baby Burger for now.
